Bird Control

Brids play important role in environment. They keep environment in balance and they are living in the world since thousands of years. Birds can be destructive pest when it comes to urban environment. Birds can be a problem in and around certain agricultural and urban buildings depending on the time of the year. The bird noise, filth and some disease also closely associated with the bird infestation.

That’s why it is very important to control of birds, removal of bird and removal of bird nests around structure, houses, hospitals, nursing homes, food processing plants and other places where there possibilities to harm cattle and human. There three most common types of urban bird species in Ontario which are considered as pests are the:

House Sparrow: (English sparrow)

Length: 13-16cm(5″-6.6″)
Colour: Male has black throat, white cheeks, and chestnut neck with grey crown and rump. The female is streaked bull brown and dingy white below.

Starling:

Length:19-21cm(7.5″-8.5″)
Colour: black flecked with white in winter yellow bill in summer and dark in winter.

Reason for control: The noise and filth associated with the house sparrows and starling nests is a nuisance in urban areas. They can harbour the chicken louse, the bird louse and northern fowl mite. House sparrows and starling are a factor, although minor, in the spread of fowl cholera, the key blackhead, and Newcastle disease. Ectoparasites such as the northern flow mite frequently invade homes from nests in or on the building.

Pigeon: (Rock Dove)

Length:34cm(13.5″)
Colour: Generally bluish grey with narrow black wing bands and white rump. Pigeon May have different colour such as white and grey.

Reason for control:

Pigeons carry ornithosis, Newcastle disease , Aspergillosis, pigeon coccidiosis, salmonellosis many of which can be transmitted to humans. Pigeon ectoparasites such as fleas, ticks and mites may bite man, possibly transmitting disease welts and skin infection may results from mite bites.

Ways to control: We have customised solution and combination of serval mechanical, chemical and bird repellant products to encounter the infestation. We also have bird netting, continues feedings, bird spikes system, radar system for big field and big structures and small to medium size structure.
